At the root of who I am as an educator is the belief that every child is a unique individual created in the image and likeness of God. Creating an environment in my classroom that reflects that belief is core to creating a safe learning environment where ideas can be explored. Within my classroom, I strive to build relationships with my students that are based on mutual trust and respect. Upon that foundation, success is achieved through recognizing that every child works and learns differently and providing my students with a variety of educational opportunities in order for every learner to be curious and grow academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually
