I believe that all children can and will learn with the proper tools and guidance. Though there are a variety of knowledge levels and backgrounds within each classroom, a teacher needs to meet each individual level and background to the best of their ability. This can be accomplished by working one on one, learning to be more multicultural-minded, discovering individual strengths and interest levels, building a positive rapport with students and their families, as well as, providing students with a variety of hands-on experiences. In summary, as a responsible, well-rounded veteran teacher, I will work to provide each child a chance to grow, meeting both their academic and spiritual needs. I feel that in my role as Principal, I can motivate teachers to be the best that they can be by encouraging positive attitudes, supporting the use of technology to enrich lessons, fostering the best teaching practices that support differentiated instruction and offering teachers the chance to grow through professional learning opportunities. I will remain open and willing to change for the benefit of the students. I will model faith and service by working to cultivate and maintain a faith-centered environment. I will do my best to listen to and communicate well with parents, students, and staff members. I believe that in my role as Principal, my experience, creative ideas, and overall love for St. John the Baptist School community will assist me in sending forth responsible, Christ-centered young people
